WS5 Series Floor Mounted Winding Machines

The WS5 series of floor mounted heavy duty winding machines is available as 4 different versions (all machines built to order and custom sizes available).

WS5a machine is a free standing pedestal winding machine.

WS5AT machine is a free standing winding machine with the addition of a rail mounted adjustable tail stock.

WS5b machine is a free standing winding machine with operator table and sliding tail stock.

WS5c machine is a free standing winding machine with an operator table, sliding tail stock and rear mounted electronically controlled traverse.

Basic features: The range of machines are all constructed from re-enforced 5mm steel plate and are available with either single speed fix ratio gear boxes or 2 speed format. All are fitted with a variable speed inverter or DC drive, all machines maybe fitted with motors ranging from .75kw - 3kw. A choice of simple mechanical counter (counting in tenths of a turn) or a full electronic bidirectional counter (counting in tenths of a turn), allowing either one program to slow down and stop or 999 programs (full C.N.C.).

All of the machines are available with a choice of faceplates or custom spindles and two styles of tailstock. The machine bed way or pedestal maybe fitted with plug outlets for soldering irons, grinders etc.

Control system: All systems are supplied with fully enclosed control box and switch panel, allowing easy access to all switch gear. 2 types of foot pedal are available, one for standing and one for sitting operation. All pedals feature a brake release to allow the operator to move the spindle by hand.
