WS Heavy Duty Foil Tensioners

The WS manual tracking foil stand is a single air braked spindle with tailstock, which allows extremely high foil tensions to be achieved at a relatively low cost.

The units are built to order and are usually free standing and may have one or more air braked spindles. With adapters provided they can also be used for wire drums. No rewind facility provided with these machines. The spindle is tracked from left to right by lead screw and hand wheel.

The WS automatic tracking foil stand is designed to be mounted in front of your existing heavy duty winding machine to convert it to a low cost foil winding machine.

The machine is a free standing, which is designed to carry relatively narrow coils of foil (300mm) a maximum of 2 foils and 2 insulation rolls can be tensioned at one time. Powered automatic tracking is provided as well as wind and rewind facilities. The foils are air braked with tension easily regulated.
